Welcome to The Rebuild—the heart and (literal) foundation of our comeback story. After losing our home in the Palisades Fire, we’re starting from scratch—every nail, every tile, every decision. This section is where I’ll take you behind the scenes of building our new house: from how we picked our architect and builder, to the design decisions that are shaping the future home for our family.

And yes—I’m taking on the role of interior designer. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, and turns out, it was also a serious line item I could save on. This will be my first ground-up development project, and I’m pouring my heart (and style) into every detail. As a real estate agent, I’ve dreamt of expanding into interiors and home development, and now I finally get to—starting with my own home. Hope you’ll follow along as I build the house, the memories, and maybe even a new chapter of my career.

  • The Final Rose 🌹: How I Picked My Architect

    This all started with a text to a friend. One minute I was drowning in back-to-back architect calls, and the next I realized—I was basically casting The Bachelor. Architect X (we’ll call him Ben Higgins) got the First Impression Rose. Sweet guy, charming, said all the right things—honestly, it felt like it was his to lose.

    And then there was Architect Y… aka Sean Lowe. The one who was always there. Steady. Understated. The “nice guy” you almost overlook—until you realize he’s actually the one.

    And now? We’re just days away from the Final Rose Ceremony (aka signing the contract).

    I’ve been writing this blog in my head for the last month, and I can’t wait to finally put pen to paper. Just trying to write the post that breaks the internet.
